This year’s Warped Tour theme is best day ever, and for me, as always, Warped Tour is the best day ever. Why you ask?
Because:
1. I was able to get in early and skip the line, and the adrenaline rush I felt and building anxiousness cannot be matched.
2. I was able to get close enough to The Summer Set; hopped the fence and everything to get in the pit.
3. Completed my Pierce the Veil collection: bought their first two CDs, A Flair for the Dramatic and Selfish Machines, for only ten bucks!
4. Snagged a few picture of one of my favorite bands, Bring Me the Horizon.
5. I felt the palpable energy when singers would insist the crowd clap, put their hands up, or get off their feet.
6. I had a front row standing position and got to see Sleeping With Sirens and The Used.
7. I was so close to the speakers and amps that I could feel the bass drum all over my body, colliding with my bones, making it hard to breathe, swallow, and causing my throat to reverberate.
8. This year I finally took pictures and got Oli Sykes, Brian Dales, Nathaniel Motte, and various others singers and band members.
9. Bring Me the Horizon sang my favorite song, “Antivist,” last, so I got to scream every word along with the vocalist and experience the moment live.
10. I got to be weird and a freak, along with every other person there: Warped Tour brings together people who don’t fit in, people who share a love of music and art, and people who appreciate music and lyrics.
